The Meaning Of Devotion

Devotion to Guru is the foundation of spiritual edifice, Emotional excitement is not devotion to Guru.Devotion to Satguru’s Feet alone will enable you to obtain God’s grace.  Love of flesh is denial of love to Guru;True and sincere surrender unto the Guru is the essence of Guru-Bhakti Yoga.Do perfect self-surrender to the will of the Guru.

Surrender completely unto the Guru. He will become your charioteer on the field of life. He will drive your chariot well. You will reach the destination, the abode of eternal bliss without fear.  Nothing is impossible to be achieved through Guru’s grace. The only remedy for the cure of aspirant’s evil nature is the service of Guru. The first step of Guru-Bhakti is annihilation of ego. Self-surrender to Guru is indeed the highest rung in the ladder of Guru-Bhakti Yoga.  In the path of Yoga of Guru-Bhakti, self-surrender is very essential. Guru demands nothing less than complete ungrudging, unreserved self-surrender. Self-surrender should not be verbal profession as generally disciples do nowadays. The more the surrender to the master, the more the grace of the master.

The degree of decent of Guru’s grace depends upon the degree of surrender.The duty of a disciple is to love and to serve the Guru. Guru is the mariner in the tempest of life. Grace of Guru is the end or goal of Guru-Bhakti Yoga. Practice of Guru-Bhakti Yoga offers a clear, definite path for the realisation of the highest end of life. Where grace of Guru is, there is righteousness, and where righteousness is, there is prosperity and immortality. Worship your father, mother, the school teacher, guests, and your Guru as the veritable gods by without regarding them as mere human beings. Pray to them with due reverence. Serve them with great respect and devotion. Name of the Guru is a potent, unfailing antidote, for those who are bitten by the serpent of worldliness. Pray to Guru for purity, devotion, light and knowledge.

The spirit of Guru-Seva must deeply enter into your very bones, cells, tissues and nerves, etc. Be fiery in the spirit of Guru-Seva. The reward is invaluable.Serve the Guru without any sort of selfish motives, and feel the effect—purity and inner strength. What an expanded heart you will have by serving the Guru! It is indescribable. Practise! Practise! Practise! You will enjoy supreme eternal bliss.Guru-Bhakti Yoga is only the best Yoga.Cultivate a very strong faith in Guru and in his teachings. Faith in Guru is the gate way to God; No faith in Guru’s actions means no devotion to Guru, or God. Some disciples keep a show as great Chelas of a Guru but they have no faith in his words, or actions. Surrender completely to the Almighty Guru who is the one without a second.Guru-Bhakti Yoga takes you to God steadily, unshakably, firmly and surely in this very birth.Guru-Bhakti Yoga starts and ends in the annihilation of ego and attainment of bliss immortal.Guru-Bhakti Yoga teaches the way to wipe out all pains and sorrows in life. The practice of Guru-Bhakti Yoga will enable you to get rid of fear, ignorance, pessimism, confusion of mind, disease, despair, worry, etc.Guru-Bhakti Yoga is the only unfailing remedy for the ills of the life.The path of Guru-Bhakti Yoga brings fruits quickly only for a worthy disciple.First understand the philosophy of Guru-Bhakti Yoga, then put into practice, you will succeed.Seek the immortal, all-blissful Atman within, through practice of Guru-Bhakti Yoga. Practise Guru-Bhakti Yoga, and go beyond all that causes duality and sin. Without devotion to Guru there can be no spirituality.Continue the practice of Guru-Bhakti Yoga without any interruption.Practice of Guru-Bhakti Yoga alone can make one fearless and ever happy in all walks of life. Give up sensual life if you want to practise the Yoga of Guru-Bhakti.If you really want God turn away from worldly enjoyments and take recourse to practice of Yoga of Guru-Bhakti.Live to serve the blessed Acharya, you will be blessed.Dispassion and discrimination dawn in the heart of disciple by the grace of Guru.Disciple should pray to Satguru in the hours of meditation to grant him an unswerving faith and ever-increasing true devotion to his Lotus-Feet.He who repeats Guru’s name gets not only Moksha but worldly prosperity, health and long life and divine Aisvarya also.On the birthday of Guru, disciple should fast and meditate on the Lotus-Feet of the Satguru, to grant him real devotion to his Lotus-Feet. Disciple should observe the birthday of his Guru on a grand scale.

 

Guru—The Incarnate Divinity

Guru is the veritable God on earth and he is the true friend and reliable relative.Disciple should prostrate before his Guru, saying to him “O Lord! O Lord! Have mercy on me who has taken shelter in thee. Protect me from the ocean of birth and death.”He who worships the Feet of Guru who is divine, with disinterested devotion, directly attains His Grace.  The disciple cuts off, by means of meditation and the sword of knowledge obtained from the Preceptor and sharpened by service to him, this baseless Ahamkara, which is imbedded in the mind, speech, Pranas, body and wanders in this world, freed of all attachments. Contact with the objects should be avoided till attachment, which taints the mind, is completely cut off by the powerful weapon of intense devotion to Guru. He who practises Yoga, by taking refuge in Guru, is not overcome by various obstacles. The true disciple should, unhesitatingly and without shyness, prostrate on the ground ‘Sashtanga’ as a token of his complete surrender, at the Holy Feet of his Guru. Who so ever devotes himself to the worship and service of Guru without expectation of reward will never go wrong, nor will he ever lose the benefit of such worship and service.He is verily purified and attains salvation who daily studies the sacred Guru Gita, containing the light of wisdom. He who delights in the Glory of His Guru and in narrating his Guru’s glory to others, shall truly attain Guru’s Grace.In the ignorance-dispelling Presence of Guru, who verily is God, the Absolute,—in His Presence shall all thy doubt’s be dispelled, like snow before the rising Sun. “O Great and Most Revered Guru, I bow to Thee in reverence. Pray, instruct me how I may attain unfailing devotion to Thy Lotus-Feet and how my mind may always rest in devotion at thy Merciful Feet”—thus in all humility and self-surrender should the true disciple (prostrate) and plead before his Guru.Glory to the most exalted Guru who is God-visible! Glory to the Sacred Scriptures that have sung the praises of the Guru! Glory to the true disciple that has found his sole refuge in such a Guru.

 

Our Relation To Guru.

In this Kaliyuga, God-realisation is to be attained through devotion to Guru.To receive initiation from a Guru is a great blessing. Mantra-chaitanya, the power hidden in the Mantra is awakened by taking initiation from Guru.Make it a point to serve the Guru with full devotion from today.No spiritual progress is possible without the aid of Guru who is mine of spirituality.  Guru removes the veil of aspirants and obstacles and throws light on their path.Miss not an opportunity to have Satsanga with Guru, Mahatmas and Saints of all castes and creeds.Make prostrations daily to your parents and school-teachers. Let your mother be your God, let your father be your God, let your teacher be your God, let your guest be your God.Study of sacred scriptures without service to Guru is only a waste of time. Study of holy scriptures from Guru without giving Guru-Dakshina to him is only a waste of time.The mere reading of Vedantic texts, Upanishads and Brahma-sutras without fulfilling the Guru’s wishes will neither bring good nor knowledge. After serving a long time, a pure and calm mind becomes your Guru.

 

 

भक्ति सारी सुखों की खान है

भक्ति सारी सुखों की खान है, सब साधनों की मूल है और तब मिले सब संत अनकूल – ईश्वर की भक्ति मिल जाय सत्संग मिल जाय | संतो के पास जायेंगे तो धीरे-धीरे उस माहोल से मन इंद्रिय बदलेगी लेकिन चाहे उधर रहे आदत पुरानी अपनी नहीं छोड़े तो क्या फायदा | बड़ी विलक्षण माया, बड़ी विलक्षण लीला है | बोले भगवान पाना बड़ा कठिन है और भगवान का पाना इतना सरल है की | खाली आप इरादा बना लो ईश्वर को पाना है तो सारी जिम्मेदारी वो अपने आप पर लेता है | उसकी प्राप्ति की इच्छा कर लो बस इमानदारी से | जितना हित हराम से उतना हरि से होये का कबीर वार्दास पला न पकड़ा ना कोई |  हे प्रभु, हे हरि ……..

चरित्र की पवित्रता, बुद्धि में सत्य का प्रकाश, सत्य ज्ञान स्वरुप है, सत्य सर्वत्र है, सत्य सदा है, और सत्य सबका हितेशी, साक्षी है | बुद्धि वो ज्ञान भर लो, मन में सदभाव भर लो, इंद्रिय में चरित्र निर्माण कर लो | बस हो गया……. ये तीन भी पढ़ लिया आपके ऊपर बड़ा उपकार किया . ऐसे हमने तीन पढ़ दिया वैसे प्रभु तुम्हारे परे कृपा कर दिई | प्रभु के साथ रहो वास्तव में रहो लेकिन ये पता नहीं इसलिए दुःख भोग रहे हो | वास्तव में हो लेकिन जो तुच्छ है उसको तो मै और मेरा मन और जो स्वास्वत है उसको समजते है वो दूर है, दुर्लभ है, पराये है  तो जो स्वास्वत है उसको समजते है वो दूर नहीं है, दुर्लभ नहीं है, पराये नहीं है | वो कभी बिछड़ता नहीं उसके लिए जरा खोज कर ले | उसको जरा अपना मान लो | इसके लिए जरासा जिज्ञासा जगा ले मंगल हो जायेगा मंगल | जयराथ भगवान ने भागवत में पंच विषयोंको मनुष्य के लिए बडे दुर्गम विषय में उनको पार कर लिया | देखेने की आसक्ति सुनने की चखने की वा वा सुनने की काम विकार, एक एक विकार को जितने के लिए बारा – बारा वर्ष का साधन भी बताया तब मन उसे विकार से विकलांग होता है | फिर क्या वेदव्यासजी बोले दिखते है भगवान पराशर के सदगुरु लेकिन वही है बोले – येतत सर्वम गुरु भक्त्या | ये सब गुरु भक्तिसे हो जाता है |

कार्य नहीं ना शेष मोह कभी ना ठग सके | ऐसा नहीं की मोह सुबहें ना ठग सके, मोह रात को ना ठग सके, मोह अमावश्या को ना ठक सके, कभी ना ठक सके | मोह कभी ना ठग सके पिच्छा नहीं आवेश पूर्ण गुरु के पामिनी पूर्ण गुरु कहलावे| ये प्रभु, ये मेरे भगवान, ये मेरे लीलाशाहजी  भगवान मागने तो आये कुछ और ले गए कुछ | मागने तो आये थे तो शिवजी का दर्शन घड़ा दिया लेकिन शिवजी जैसे शिवजी तो है | दाता तो तू सहृद भी है, उदार भी है राजा को क्या दान करेगा ? शेठ्जी तो क्या दान करेगा? कर्ण भी तो क्या दान करेगा ? चीज वस्तु का दान करेगा | अपने कवच का दान करेगा कर्ण लेकिन भगवान तो आपने आप सबसे बड़ा दाता तू ही है भगवान | दाताओं दान करते है वो भी तेरी सत्ता है | हे हरि ….. हे हरि ……

Saral hai Bhakti (सरल है भक्ति ) – Asaram ji Bapu

साज़िश और षड्यंत्र से न हारी भक्ति, न टूटा विश्वास!

राजस्थान के जोधपुर जिले में देखने को मिला आशाराम जी बापू के साधकों की भक्ति का अद्भुत नज़ारा | षड्यंत्रकारियों ने बापू जी को समाज में बदनाम करने की कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी | लेकिन जिस तरह आंधी और तूफान कमज़ोर वर्ग के पेड़ और पौधों को तो उखाड़ फेंकते हैं, परन्तु मजबूत पेड़ तो ज़मीन को पकड़े ही रहते हैं ; उनका कोई भयावह तूफ़ान भी कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता, ठीक उसी तरह बापू जी के साधक अब इतने पक्के हो गए हैं कि कोई चाहे कितना भी उनके गुरु के खिलाफ़ साज़िश क्यों न रच ले, चाहे कितने ही आरोप क्यों न लगा ले ; परन्तु उनकी श्रद्धा, भक्ति व निष्ठा को कोई डगमगा भी नहीं सकता |

यही नज़ारा पूरे देश में था आशाराम जी बापू के 74 वें अवतरन दिवस पर | देश के कोने-कोने में साधकों ने बड़ी धूम – धाम और जन सेवा द्वारा बापू का अवतरण दिवस मनाया | जोधपुर जेल के बाहर बारिश होने के बावजूद हिम्मत और साहस खोये बिना दीप प्रज्वलन तथा कीर्तन किया गया |

देश के लगभग हर राज्य से भक्तों का हुजूम अपने गुरु को अवतरण दिवस की बधाई देने जेल के बाहर एकत्रित हुआ | हर चेहरा अपने गुरु की एक झलक पाने को बेताब था | आंसुओं से भीगी आँखे अपना दर्द ज़ाहिर कर रहीं थी | लेकिन फिर भी अपने गुरुदेव की दी गई सीख “सेवा परमो धर्मः” को याद रखते हुए भक्तजनों ने गुरुदेव के अवतरण दिवस को “विश्व सेवा दिवस” के रूप में मनाया |

“बापू को जेल गये हुए आठ महीने बीत चुके हैं,

लेकिन साधकों की श्रद्धा आज भी अडिग है,

इस बात को उन्होंने बापू जी के

अवतरण दिवस पर साबित कर दिया | “

श्रद्धालुओं की ऐसी अटूट श्रद्धा देख कर वे झूठे षड्यंत्रकारी भी आज शर्म से कहीं मुंह छिपा रहे होंगें जो इतना–इतना कुप्रचार और घिनौने आरोपों के बाद भी वे न तो बापू जी की प्रतिष्ठा गिरा पाए और न ही साधकों की संख्या कम कर पाए |

इससे सिद्ध होता है कि कोई चाहे कोई कितनी ही कोशिश क्यों न कर ले लेकिन महापुरुषों की प्रतिष्ठा को चोटिल नहीं कर सकता; कुछ समय लिए अपने कुकृत्यों से आहत करने की कोशिश भले ही कर ले, परन्तु मिटा नहीं सकता| ऐसे महापुरुष सूरज की तरह चमक बिखेर कर संसार का मंगल और कल्याण करते रहते हैं |
